Jangalbari stronghold is a memorial building of Isha Khan located in Kishoreganj district of Bangladesh. Mosnade-Ala-Bir, Isha Khan was the head of Baru Bhuiyan of Bengal. Isha Khan's Junglebari was in fact the second capital of Isha Khan. [1] It is currently an archaeological establishment listed by the archaeological department of Bangladesh. The location of the fort is on the banks of Narasunda in Jangalbari village of Kadirjangal Union under Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj district. [2
HISTORY.
Isha Khan's native homeland Afghanistan In the oppression of the Mughals and the English, the zamindars of Bengal who sent him the news of his arrival in Bengal by intelligence, he reached Tripura with 1400 horsemen, 21 naval ships and ammunition. [3] In 1585, the then King Lakshman defeated Hazra and Ram Hazra and captured Jangalbari fort. [4] Coach King Laksman Hazra or Isha Khan is not the architect of this fort. It is believed to be built in pre-Muslim age. However, after taking possession of the fort, Isha Khan constructed some structures inside it.
Details.
The fort has two temples shared by long brick walls in the north-south. Locals are known as 'Palace Wall', known to the inspector. There is an arcade on the south side. In front of the arcade, there is a former ground floor building called 'Karachi'. On the back of the arcade, there is a building called 'Andor Mahal', which has a one-storey south-facing building. The entire brick wall is covered with lemonade with lime, [3] deep ditch is excavated south, west and north. The ditch is attached to the river Narasunda east.
